KEVIN WALKER

Kevin grew up in Big Spring, Texas (which isn’t that big) before heading to Lubbock (which is a little bigger). He earned his B.A. in Bible from Lubbock Christian University in 2005, keen on a career in biblical theology and academia before discovering his unfortunate allergy to reading. After relocating to Denver (which is by far the biggest), he dabbled in retail banking and billing escalations before finally conceding his fascination with accounting. After earning his M.S. in Accounting from Kaplan University in 2017, Kevin has worked in corporate accounting—primarily cash management, general ledger, and payables—but was especially eager to step into the Accounting/Finance role with his Littleton Church of Christ family in 2023.

While at LCU, he befriended the beautifully compassionate Abby Johnson, a product of Littleton Church. After she finally caught his otherwise oblivious eye, he married her in 2005, followed her back to Littleton in 2007, and immediately placed membership at LCC. The family grew in 2018 with the adoption of Aleithia Faith Marie, an unstoppable force of emotions, eager gifting, monkey-bar domination, and purple princess unicorns.

In his spare time (a subjective term for a dad), Kevin enjoys writing, sharing a good laugh (and often cheesy ones), playing games (especially of the spades or Zelda variety), and snuggling up for family movie nights. He is an avid fan and proud stockholder of the Green Bay Packers, but also cheers for the Broncos (despite that unfortunate Packers/Broncos Super Bowl). For basically his entire LCC membership, he has been involved with the Worship Ministry with occasional forays into the Children’s Ministry and small group leading..
